Immersed in the greenery of Salento, in a place where in the eighth century AD there were monasteries of Basilian monks and a watchtower erected in 1577 by the Gonzagas of Mantua, both still existing, this ancient farmhouse continues its history under the banner of agricultural productivity and hospitality.
Masseria Rifugio dei Basiliani welcomes its guests to perpetuate its culture: that of rest and refreshment made unforgettable thanks to the perfect harmony between nature and man. With the same care given to its guests, 1,500 centuries-old olive trees are cultivated, which extend over 40 hectares of fertile land.
Exclusive products are born between the sea and the land, including a prestigious extra virgin olive oil, all intended for a consumer with a demanding and refined taste.
