Nestled along the ancient Via del Carro, once the vital route connecting the rural farmsteads of Salento from north to south, Masseria Del Carro is a 14th-century fortified farmhouse steeped in history. A timeless haven for travelers and pilgrims, it offered rest and refuge within its sturdy walls, flanked by two defensive towers. One of these towers now houses the Master Suite, adorned with a remarkable fresco dating back to the 1600s, a testament to the Masseria’s rich heritage.
At the entrance, guests are greeted by a centuries-old chapel, setting the tone for an experience suspended between past and present. Masseria Del Carro extends across more than one hectare of lush gardens, featuring a traditional vegetable plot, a serene swimming pool, and nine uniquely designed suites that harmoniously blend historic charm with contemporary elegance.
