Masseria Uttata offers a new and authentic experience of rural hospitality in Puglia, nestled in the heart of Lower Salento, just a few kilometers from the stunning Castro Marina and the Otranto – Santa Maria di Leuca and Bosco di Tricase Coastal Park.
Completely immersed in the peaceful Salento countryside, the Masseria is surrounded by dry stone walls, fragrant Mediterranean scrub, olive and carob trees, and a variety of fruit trees, including the region’s iconic figs. Guests are welcomed into three comfortable rooms, tastefully decorated in Mediterranean Salento style, with touches of ethnic craftsmanship.
Thanks to the skilled work of local artisans, owners Cristina and Filippo have lovingly restored the property, repurposing furnishings and fixtures from the early to mid-20th century to create a space that feels both timeless and rooted in tradition.
In the spacious outdoor patio, guests can enjoy a traditional wood-burning oven crafted from Lecce stone, as well as a barbecue area, perfect for outdoor meals and relaxing moments under the Salento sky.
